Does anyone think yamaha will make any changes to the wolverine in the future such as switchable 2x4-4x4?

Personally, I would rather see an engine upgrade (YZ-426 or 660 Raptor engine) than a switchable 4wd system, but I kind of doubt that they will change it in the near future. I don't have anything to base this on other than the fact that I haven't heard anything to indicate that the Wolverine will get anything other than new and improved graghics anytime soon.

yamaha needs to improve the wolverine the problems are no low first gear, carb problems, won"t run above 10.000ft.I traded mine in for a 450 s so I can haul elk and go above 6.000ft without sputering.and getting mud on me becuase of poor mud flaps. The wolverines not fast enough to be called a sport bike.

Skid plates are a joke if you use it in the mud when I got my Wolf I got a DG skid plate and got stuck all the time. So I took it off and haven't got it stuck since. But Yamaha does need to do something with the Wolf's because every time I ride I get smoked by Scramblers all day long. Thinking of selling mine and getting a Scrambler 500.

You bought a 450s and you say that a Wolverine is not fast enough?? There must have been something serious wrong with your Wolverine because mine(totally stock) will kill a 450es.
And of course it's not a sport quad. It's a sporty 4x4.

My wolf is a 350cc, but even the 400 scrambler eats up the wolfs. It's time to change them, they have been around since 95' I think there out-dated. Look at all the advances in atv's in the last coulpe years, but the wolr, warrior, blaster, etc. stay the same. cc don't matter that much a 300EX out runs a Warrior. The wolf is old technology and thats the fact.

What kind of wolf are you referring to, my timberwolf is a 250cc, how did you turn yours into a 350cc, that would sure be nice, more power=more fun.
