hey bill, I dunno about that.. unless the blaster isnt running right or something.. might help if you shifted it... seriously though, Ive ridden (recently) a 2000xr100, a 93 polaris 350l4x4, a 2000 polaris trailblazer, 97 lakota, 89 blaster, 82 cr500, a 99 polaris sportsman, articcat 454, and a 96 banshee, of them the CR500 was by far the fastest, banshee a close 2nd, blaster a close 3rd, 350L a close 4th, lakota close 5th, xr100 6th, and the sportsman and articcat were pretty much the same acutally I was kinda surprized to see the xr100 continually beat my buddies sportman and my other buddies articcat, my buddie with the cat said "man, everytime you take off you leave me in a big dust pile, if you want to ride with me then stop smoking me otherwise Im gonna go home". Anyways, the point of the story is..............

Sorry to tell you man, but i think alot of poeple would buy a slightly used quad. I bet if you found a good deal, you could get a 400ex or something. Banshee. it doesnt have to be new man, new means nothing.

IF all your looking for is a fast quad and wanna buy it new than go with a blaster and put 2 grand of mods into it. The thing will fly! If not I would defainty go with a used 400ex, my buddy bought a used 1 for 4,500 and the thing has never been ridden only about 10 minutes. The tires still had the things hangin off and it was brand new! Not 1 mark or nick anywhere. Looked right fromthe dealers. Try to find a deal like this. You will save tons of money and the 400ex will be enough power for you and plus its 1 of the best quads ever made.
01 Raptor--big gun pipe, prm skids
00 Warrior--too manyu mods to list
00 Wolverine-- too many mods to list

You could get a really nice warrior or 400ex with that kind of money. You could even almost get a brand new warrior for 5,000. If I were you I'd save about 700 more and go for a brand new 400ex if u want a brand new one.
