yep they are a joke, i have broke or stripped about ever bolt on the thing it seems!!!! but thats how everything is made these days, disposable= the rich get richer!!!!!!

 

One thing to Remember as well.. is most of the time you have Steel bolts going into Aluminum! Aluminum and Steel DO NOT get along.. a little moisture in there and the AL starts to corrode.. So when they make a casting the threads are cut into the Aluminum, if it is an area where the bolt can come out a alot, like the Belt cover then Yamaha (any Manufacturer) should put Steel heli-coil inserts. On my quad I wound up taking out all of the bolts and putting anti-seize compound on them.
