Default mikuni carb jetting..

I've been looking all over and just cat find a video or good(not Yamaha manual)instructions on how to re-jet a mikuni 34 for the 350 Wolverine,anyone have this info hanging around in their data base??

Do you have any instuctions at all... And is it dynojet kit.

Nothing but the Yamaha manual [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] ..I don't know if I will get instructions from HMF,It was one of ebay deals where I get the black pipe,spark arrestor,jets and quiet core..

the part that worys me its taking off that float to get at that jet..I broke one before trying to get one off..There are plenty of guides out there for the Keihin and Edelbrock,but nothing for the Mikuni..Well I hoope it comes with instructions,but I'm not holding my breath lol ..

Default mikuni carb jetting..

i have a set of instructions. Here they are:

1. Remove top carb plate. Remove slide lift arm screw and the two needle plate screws. Flip the linkage forward and remove the slide.

2. Install needle (what ever is specified for your jet kit) on the correct groove.

make sure you put the e-clip on.

3 Install correct jet. reassemble.

really not that bad

yeah HMF said to use 145 Mikuni small..Im guessing that is the jet they will send with it..

So I wont even need to open the bottom part if the carb?? nice..

Main jet is in the bottom of the carb I think Hmm,I have a junk carb in the garage,I'm going to go look at it lol..

Grrr..I hate carbs..

yes you will when you change the main jet... sorry for not putting that in... but I don't think you need to remove the float... its been a while.

Is this a pilot-air scew adjuster??


is this the pilot jet??and Main jet position??

The lower pic shows the main jet and it looks as though you are missing some parts if that is under the top plate (first pic).
