raptor 660- bored to a 686 with 13/1 comp
A webcam for a 400ex isn't going to be representative of a webcam, for a raptor, just because it works well in one atv engine doesn't have any bearing on how it will work on another atv. JE 102mm 10.75:1 pistons for the 660R are generally regarded as a ticking time bomb but I wouldn't hesitate to put one in a 400ex; the same type of parts have different attributes and results in different engines. Webcam has had some problems with ears breaking off the raptor cams, something you probably never came across working with cams for a different bike.
If you hadn't insisted hotcams were junk (something I know to be untrue) and inferred that Greg only liked his hotcam because he was too dumb to know what webcam grind to get I wouldn't have come back at you like that. Even if you really, really dislike hotcams to say they're junk is going a little far.
The raptor is a good trail quad yes, but it's also great in the dunes and can be darn fast in a straight line for a four stroke.
