Default Broken rebound adjuster on Shock

I have a banshee rear shock and the rebound on it was crazy while riding today. I mean this thing felt like it was going to throw the rear over me! LOL Anyways, I noticed the rebound adjuster does not click it just turns. I peeled back the rubber piece that is on top and bottom of the adjuster and a small round pin fell out. In the hole I can still see a pin the goes up and down. Any idea on how to fix or adjust the rebound with the **** broken?

Here are some pics. There has to be a way I can adjust this thing to its 1/2 way point and then forget about it.

yeah. I actually just bought a nice rebuilt shock off of ebay. It was a good deal and the shock has been completely redone. It is even polished and the spring has been powdercoated.

$215. It looks mint and he has great feedback for rebuilding shocks so it should be good. I just play around on this 4 wheeler and didn't want or need anything more.
