Default Wolverine ?????'s

my dealer has a demo with 10hrs on it. i currently own a '06 kodiak 450 4x4. he's willing to trade almost even up. does anyone have any pro's or con's on the wolverine? anything to look out for? any major problems with the machine that i should look for? i really love my kodiak but am wanting something more sportier. thanks....Tim

I have a Wolverine 450 and a Grizzly 450 ( same as kodiak 450) so maybe i can help you a litle. Top speed is around the same on both machines, but the wolverine accelerates and feels much faster. The kodiak's ride is much more comfortable, but the wolverine feels lots more sporty in turns. In mud the kodiak is much better because dif-lock and higher ground clearance, but even with that said, the wolverine is capable of doing a good job in mud areas.
So if you like hard mud riding and prefer comfort, keep the kodiak, BUT if like something more sporty that feels faster go for the wolverine.
In my case I prefer the wolverine, even with the same engine it accelerates much faster, i just have the grizzly for my father who rides occationaly with me and prefer comfort due to his age.
