Default Top speed of 2007 Raptor 350

I just got a raptor 350 and i think it would be best to ask some one how fast the 350 would go because the only place i can test it is on the road.

The 350 in stock form gets to about 58 to 63 MPH or 92 to 101 Kmh, Depending on youre weight you will rev out at that speed.

i have a 98 warrior and i did a speed run on the street. i had a GPS on my handlebars. i hit 72 MPH. i have a white brothers pipe, K&N, rejected, and i weigh 135. i looked at my front tires as i was doing this, and they expanded so much they became very skinny and i thought they might pop of the rim so i left off cause i still had little bit more throttle to go.

A stock Raptor 350 will do about 55-60. A modified Warrior/Raptor 350 will do about 63-68, depending on mods and gearing. A heavily modified Raptor 350 with high gearing will go around 70-80 mph. Here we go again with the top speed question, but I dont beliieve anyone that says they have a Warrior/Raptor 350 that will do over 70, unless they have very high gearing. I dont know why people stretch the truth so much about how fast their bike will go. I have many mods on my Warrior with 20" rear tires, 1-up gearing in the front, stock rear gearing, I weigh 205 lbs and my Warrior will barely do 70mph. so what gives? StingGT350, I promise those front tires will not pop off the rim! Have you ever seen the tire pop off of a Banshee running 90mph+? I haven't either.

raptor 450 you have a point on the tires not popping off the rim. but at that time, seeing my front tires getting narrower and narrower convinced me to let off and slow down for the fear of an ER visit at teh local hospital. but i did hit 72 MPH. i am not bragging or anything, one of those times when i thought " lets see what she can do"? that was the first and last time i tryed to peg it out. i still yet to try to peg out my raptor 660.

Yeah, if you have low ply rear tires they will swell up at high speeds, too. Theres really no danger when this happens. It's a good thing you have respect for your safety enough to let off the throttle. Going to the ER is not very fun! I'm sorry, but I still cant believe that Warrior did 72 mph. I have ridden a lot of Warriors over the years, and have raced them at the dragstrip, clocked them with cars and radar guns, and have never seen 72 mph on any one. I have a hard time believing some of those GPS units. Now on the other hand, that 660 should do 72 mph with no problem!

this is what yamaha claims stock: warrior- 62 mph. since the rappy 350 is a good 25 pounds lighter than the pig of a warrior and has a slightly better carb i would maybe give it 65. you can do a ton of mods to get there faster, but the best way to increase the top speed is through taller gearing and sacraficing some low end grunt. ATV top speed is WAY overrated, IMO. i would rather be the guy to get to 60 the fastest even if i cant go much faster than that!
