I have a hotcams stage 2 camshaft for my 700. i have been told by numerous people in the quad industry that they recommend a set of HD valve springs to go along with a stage 2 camshaft in the 700, well i called hotcams and they dont make a set for the 700. say it will be fine on the stock springs.. i did however run down a set of hotcams HD springs for a 660 raptor.. my questions are should i run it on stock springs? if not will the 660 springs fit the 700 valves? or does anyone know of a good set made for the 700? any help would be greatly appreciated...

 

I would not run the stock springs with the stage 2 cam..If your cam did not come with the springs..i would get some from black dimond..(i think is the brand im thinking about) I used them in mine..and worked really well..but if you look around you will find some spring that will work with the stage 2..and there not that high..The stock springs are too week..for that high lift of a cam..
