2007 Grizzly 700
#2
I know, I couldn't take it any longer. I was looking at a bunch of used units ranging from Rubicons, Rincons, Kodiak 450s, and Grizzly 660s. The dealer had a used Grizzly 700 with 300 miles on it but I never looked at it as the price was too high. I just didn't what to borrow money to buy a toy. After doing some calling around today to see what I could find I called the local dealer (60 miles away) with the used 700 and told him I'll buy it. Never even rode it. Hell, I never even walked over and looked at it. But after reading all the propaganda and reviews I had wanted one.
When I first started looking for a newer wheeler and after I starting looking at the prices I talked myself out of it. But its like a lot of things, if you don't buy what you really want, you'll never be happy and will in the end spend more money getting what you want. On next Monday I'll get it picked up and I hope it's what I want.

I don't think your going to be unhappy with your purchase. I have had mine for 6 days now and have 26hrs/400miles on it. Just try to pry me out of the seat or see if you can wipe the shyte eating grin off my face.
When I first got mine it felt really tippy almost like I was going to go over the handle bars when I tried to turn. After reading buckaroo50's post in the AC forum I have put 8lbs in the front tires (stock). This was the cure all....now it handles like it is on rails (btw I have the springs set on 2 on the back and 3 on the front....your mileage will vary on how you like them) took a bit to see what I liked but I can ride from the house and took a pig tank with me so I could adjust on the trail to see what I liked.
The power steering is all you could ever want and more... Just wait to your doing some articulate, technical riding and you are driving around your buddies as you watch them switch to diff lock, go over obstacle, stop, switch out so they can steer, line up, stop, switch into diff lock, go over obstacle and repeat. While you will be driving circles around them just trying to keep from being bored.
Hope ya have fun with your great quad.

The power steering is awfully nice. It isn't just a gimmick. It really makes a difference. Hopefully more manufacturers start using it.
I wish they protected the PS unit better though. It's a little too exposed for my comfort.
