This has probably been asked and answered many times, but i need a quick answer.
My brother has a 02 Raptor 660r. It needs a new swingarm and bearings.
I found a great deal on a 01 Raptor 660r swingarm on eBay.
Everyone i know says it WILL fit on his 02 Raptor.

WILL IT???
I don't wanna buy it and then have to sell it cuz it don't fit.

the 01 has a different part number then the 02 the 02 and the 03 have the same part number
01 5lp-22110-00-00
02-02 5lp-22110-10-00
might fit you make the call or call yamaha i would say they would fit but the 01 was the first year so they might have changed a little.

 

Yeah, i talked to the Yamaha Dealer, he said. 1st Yamaha will change the part number if they make 1 little change, like if its a measly 1 cm longer, or something like that. He said it should fit, 99.9% sure it will fit. He said he had a guy a few years ago ask the same thing, he never heard from him again on the subject so he was sure that the guy got it to work.
ANother thing, according to the Parts Catalog they have, a swingarm fits from 01-05 raptors, cuz in 06 they drastically changed it to the 700, a new machine from the frame up.
Anyway i got the 01 swingarm for $31 on ebay plus 20 for shipping. SO if it don't work, i can always sale it and probably make a bit of a profit.
I will keep you posted, the part should be here by tuesday.
BUT Darn, I still gotta get a bearing kit and stuff.. thats gonna cost me like $70, thats more then i paid for the swingarm, LOL.
