I Have a 98 warrior, I'm 230 pounds at 6'1". My buddy has a 99 400ex. When both quads were stock the 400ex smoked it on the straights. I happen to be a much better rider then my buddy. I have a few mods on my warrior and it now stays up with the 400ex. From riding both quads personnally my warrior handles way better then my buddy 400. He even said the same thing. The 400 is taller which leaves it a little top heavy granted I do have a durablue 2+2 axle with 20" tires. It really depends on what your terrain your riding. Reverse for me has been handy as $%^@. We ride alot at 13,000 and it gets pretty rocky at that altitude. I do put my stock tires on for that. But I remember my buddy having to muscle his 400 when he got stuck. I just sat comfortablely and stuck in reverse.
