Found this in the belly pan of my '03 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 while washing it. Is this part of my ATV or a piece of junk that flew of the trail? I had one suggestion that it may be the oil drain plug spring. I had the oil changed about 300 mi ago (fall of 05) so I would be surprised that it stayed there that long.

Any help is appreciated.
