Griz 700 Pod Mod rocks
Did the trick on my buddy's Grizz this evening. Only mods he has right now are an exhaust tip and 26" tires.
Here's the procedure (copy/edit/paste from another post):
1. With the key in the off position, Hold "Select" & "Reset" and (while holding
them down) turn the key on. The "d IAG" screen will pop up in 5-10 seconds.
2. Press the Select button to get it to the "Co" screen.
3. Hold "Select" & "Reset" again to get the "C1" screen to pop up.
4. Press "Select" & "Reset" again until a "0" appears in the lower right corner.
5. Press "Select" to raise the number and press "Reset" to lower the number.
6. Turn the key off to reset to the new settings.
7. Restart Quad

Ooh! That's what I need. I need to be able to make the ATV "loop all the way over" me. LOL

Evidently I need to clarify my "looping over" statement for some of you. I simply meant that it has the power to do so, not that it is something you would want to do. The fact is before the POD mod it was difficult to loft the front wheels. After the POD mod it is simply a matter of nailing the throttle. This can be an advantage on the trail when you want to get over an obstacle, but more that that, wheelies are just plain fun.

Okay, I admit. I know what you meant. I also mean I don't really want to do it. Maybe sometime in my first 60 years, but not any longer.
But here's the deal: I did my pod mod up to only 20 and rode today at about 5,000 to 7,500 feet elevation. It kept cutting out, but not stalling, on me when I would make a moderately hard left turn. I put it back to 0 and it stalled a few times on starting up, but then ran normal again. I've done a "hole-in-the-screen" mod, too, but that should be unrelated to this.
I wonder if there is any need to turn on the key and NOT start the engine for some short period of time after a change in order to let "some gizmo" take a pressure reading, or something, in order for the computer to know there are new peramiters. Maybe I didn't do that enough when I made the first change. ???????
I also switched over to a UNI filter which is about 3/4" thick compared to the stock 1/2". I don't know if that makes any additional flow resistance.

Yeah GJ, I am over 50 myself so I am not anxious to do something stupid on my Griz either.
The POD mod worked well for me. Like Honeyduck says, it's not like hitting a nitrous button or anything, but I immediately noticed better throttle response, and more grunt off the bottom through mid-range.
I received and installed a power tip yesterday (with spark arrestor installed of course). It is only incrementally louder, and definitely flows better. I'll be anxious to see how much it improves power output.
