Default 03 kodiak grief

Hi can anyone help me with this my wife has a 03 kodiak 400 ultramatic. We were out on the weekend doing some bogging she was in a water/mud pitt spinning around and after about 30 secs the atv stalled. It started again butnow it wont rev up. As soon as you give it gas it coughs and sputters but idols fine. I checked the air filter and no water in the box. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Check all fittings from airbox to carb, make sure they aren't blocked and fittings are tight. Check your carb vent tube and exhaust pipe for mud and debris. Drain the float bowl on the carb, you may have water there. change the fuel filter if you have one, there may be water in it. If none of this works, tear down the carb and clean/replace the carb jets. They may look clean, but be partially blocked.

I would also pull the CVT cover and make sure the belt and clutches are mud and debris free. Mud will kill both the belt and clutch.
