Called a local dealer about 20 miles from the house today. 5 Star rated and have always been super nice in talking to me. Guy quoted me $6234.93 out the door for an 07 Grizzly 450. Didn't sound too bad to me, but I continually hear people getting ridiculously good deals on these 07 Grizzlys. So, what do you guys think?

What is the list price on your quad. When I got my 05 Kodiak 450, one dealer quoted me a hundred or so below list price. All the other dealers wanted to add $800 or more over list price for bogus prep charges. There is a web site that for a fee you can get what the actual cost of the quad is for the dealer. If you know what they paid for it you know for real how good your deal is.Good Luck.

Nah.. it is an 2007.. he wil be getting the 2008's in during October or so... so he is trying to get the most he can for that '07 knowing that once he gets '08's in he will only get $5500 or so for that 2007.. because who would pay 6235 for an 2006 when 2008 MSRP's for 6299 ??? how about NO ONE would!
That 2007 only MSRP'd for $6299 so him giving you a mere $65 bucks off is NOT a deal and isn't fair to me.... Talk him down for sure..... Offer $5900 and see where that gets you... He should let it go for $6150 or so.. I wouldn't pay more than that for it....

When I was pricing 450s a couple of months ago one dealer has $6499 and the other was list minus $200. We have to add the 7% tax on to that so at 6299-200 and another $200 for the cash back is 5900. Add the tax and your back at the origional MSRP of 6300 OTD nearly. I looked at other dealers advertizing lower prices but driving 300 miles one way at 15 MPG just isn't worth it. The government allows 48.5 cents a mile for taxes so you know driving costs is still more than that. To get a deal at $5500 then add 300 for depreciation on the vehicle, 350 for sales tax when I title it, a couple meals on the road, maybe a motel for the night so I don't have to drive 600 miles in a day. Its still cheaper to drive the 60 miles to my closest dealer and pay the 6300 and still have time to try it out at the National Forest on the way home.
