No Front Wheel Drive

Can anyone shed some light on why my 93 Kodiak 400 has no drive on the front wheels. The back tires are spinning but the front are not. Checked the u-joint and it seems to be tight, drive shaft has been replaced.

broke front axle shaft will cause that
