Default Wolverine top speed 37mph?!?!

I fixed mine about 2 weeks after my clutch kit job, with water in the belt drive on the wolverine, it does cause problems it will dilute the grease in the primary and sling it all out.

You need to go to a yamaha dealer and get grizz grease it is like $17.00 a tub but it works.Look up wolverine epi clutch kit for a step by step instruction if you want and I used to have a link to pics of the disassembly and reassembly of the clutch kit when I installled the EPI clutch kit. I did a whole write up and picture link on it.

Ya a new spark plug is not going to help a slipping clutch, at all. The EPI clutch kit allows faster acceleration at the expense of top speed. You have to tear the bike down further in order to install the clutch kit.

The clutch kit will drop about 3-5 mph off the top end, you will gain quite a bit of low end power though if you do replace it. If you want to read up more about it here is a linkEpi clutch kit instructions
