I would like to hear from anyone that owns a Beartracker quad.I am interested in possibly trading my Blaster in on one and would like to hear what you guys think of the machine.I am mainly interested in the reliability, handling,
comfort, performance. The type of riding that I mostly do is technical trail riding and some goofing around stunts(wheelies, riding sideways on two wheels, jumping).
Now I know the Beartracker is not as light as a Blaster but can it be manuevered around on tight trails using throttle control and body english? Is the suspension forgiving or does it ride like a brick? Is it capable of pulling a wheelie to cross an obstacle,is it capable of riding a wheelie for fun?does it have adequate power?
The machine would be used for fun not for work in your opinion is this a fun quad?

in reply to the person who asked about the beartracker. I have had my 01' beartracker for 5 months. I have had absolutely no problems with it. It wont't be as fast as the blaster but it does get around at about 40-41 mph. I got it during the summer and have now used it in this 14" snow fall this winter, not with great speed, but it got around. i have a superwinch t-1500 and a set of 23" bearclaws on the back. i would recommend it highly for a nice reasonbly sized quad that can pull a good 15 wheely if you have good balance.

Doesn't sound to me like you want a bear tracker. Sounds like you either wanna stick with the blaster or maybe get a warrior. Its not easy to pull a wheelie on a beartracker unless you rev it up in neutral and jam it into first which i'm sure isn't good for the tranny. A blaster or warrior will go anywhere that the beartracker will since its only 2wd. And in reply to what "beartracker14" said..I dont see how he's riding in 14" of snow. My friend has two 99 beartrackers and as soon as they got about 10ft off driveway they needed to be pushed or they weren't movin, and that was in probably a foot or so of snow. They are a nice quad depending on what you wanna do with it, doesn't sound to me like it would be a good choice for playing around and riding on two wheels like you want.
