[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] My 1998 Grizzly 600 starter motor continues to run after the ATV has started. If I unplug Relay Assy(#25 of fiche, the middle one of the three relays) the starter motor quits and I can run the ATV, but when I have to start it again I understandably have to plug the Relay back in. Is this relay the problem or do I need to look for another culprit? I have changed the starter switch assembly thinking there was a short circuit but that didn't stop the problem.

 

on which fiche?? there's about 5 different ones with different numbers

 

Sorry!! It is on Electrical #2 part#29U-81950-93-00. It shows two of them but I disconnected the middle of the three shown on the Fiche.

I forgot to mention an important step. The second I turn the key on the starter engages without me even pushing the starter button. I switched the two relays around and it didn't help either. I'm really stuck and need some real help on what to do next.
