It will only be slightly faster, but with the mods listed above, you will notice a difference. Now if you don't take our advice and go and get a DG or Cobra exhaust and don't jet it correctly, you may not notice any difference in performance. If you want to make it a lot faster, you can always do some internal engine mods like a cam and piston, etc., but you need to start out with the basics listed above, and if you decide to do more later, these basic mods will still work good with what you do later.

yea the Hd's are heavy but there worth it. Just go with the mods listed above and youll be fine.
