Default 06 Grizzly not starting just buzzing

My 2006 Grizzly with 80 hours on it will not start. When I push the start button while in neutral and the key turned on I only hear a buzzing noise. The console lights are illuminated and the headlight/taillights will turn if engaged. The engine/starter does not turn over. I rode and worked yesterday on my ranch in south Texas in 100 degree heat. The heat warning light was on for about 5 minutes before I turned it off and let it sit for 1 hour. When I try to turn it back on the above problem occurs. I checked fuses and all were ok. The buzzing comes from what I believe is the solenoid. I checked the 2- 30 amp fuses there and they are ok too. I have not had this problem before. Any advice greatly appreciated. Please help. Thanks.

I have started trucks by putting a screwdriver across the solenoid posts. If that works then you know you need a new solenoid.

PS Once it starts take the screwdriver off the posts.

Screwdriver across the solenoid posts didnt start it. It only sparked. I have tried to pull start it but it is quite difficult and I have not been successful. Any other ideas? Thanks.

My bruin has been doing the exact same thing, I think its just the battery. Ever since I put my warn trail lights on, the battery has been draining down...there must be a short or something in the wiring. If I put mine on a charger, it will start up fine, or if I pull start it and run it for a while, it will also start fine for the day. But if it sits for a day or two, it will just buzz like you described and not even try to crank over. Im pulling the lights back off next week, hopefully that will fix my problem.

Try turning your choke off before you pull start it, my bruin extremely hard with the choke on...but with it off, I can get it in one try.

Check the battery connectiions and the battery. My Raptor di the same, probaly dont need the choke at all if it's that warm out. If you pull start it, pull it up slow until you feel a lot of resistance, then let it recoil, and with just a little throttle let it rip!

I replaced the solenoid because I read that ifd the buzzing is continuous - the problem is the solenoid. WRONG - it was the battery. Replaced battery and all OK.
