ok the other day i was riding and my foot peg fell off wen i went too check it i noticed one off the bolts was striped and in the other whole there was no thread there it was a empty hole so the bolt that was in there coldnt go back in any suggestions

 

if u got enuf room drill and tap to the next size bigger

 

how do u do that

 

buy a tap and screw it in to make a thread

 

where do i get that and how does it look sorry for so many questions its my first quad

 

go to your hardware store and buy a tap set. its like a drill bit but it makes threads.

If you are talking about a Banshee, go to 1/2 fine thread. You will need the correst drill bit for that tap, though. I have done this repair and it works great.

Go to an auto parts store and ask for a 1/2 fine tap and the correct drill bit. You will get what you need and not be stuck with a bunch of taps that you don't. You will also need new bolts of coase and you have to drill the foot peg holes out.

I am over 250 pounds and that mod held up for over a year, then sold the Banhee.
