Stage 2 jet kit and airbox
I'm wanting to put a Stage 2 jet kit on my 2001 Warrior and I need to cut the airbox. I'm a little worried about the mud, water, and everything else that likes to make its way under the seat. I have the k & n installed with the precharger on it. Will that precharged do the job or do I need to do some other mods as well?

its a stage 2 dynojet kit, right?
What i would do is just take off the airbox lid or cut off the top of the air box, and then make a little 3" wall at the back made of duct tape and card board or something to stop mud from flying in off your back tires. I would keep the bottom of the air box so you can still go through 18" water without getting your filter soaked

If you want the lid on you'll have to go stage 1. If it's properly jetted with stage II the lid has to be off, or cut if it holds your filter in. If you put the lid on it when it's jetted for a stage II (which only means airbox lid off), it will have too much gas and be starving for air which equals no power. Of course your mileage may very but, when I left lid on by accident on my EX the thing fell flat on its face and started sputtering.
