Default 04 blaster-- Can I disable the park brake rev lim switch?

ok so after talking to a couple people I am wondering if I can disable the rev limiter/parking brake switch. How is it done?? here's why.

It starts and idles but when I give it throttle, it refuses to rev up. You can hear the carb open up and the exhaust tone sounds more "throaty", but all it does is increase the smoke from the exhaust (no blue smoke, just white smoke which looks normal to me). It sounds almost like it is flooded. it should be mentioned that when I give it throttle, the engine goes from smooth idle to a pulsing sound.

I have tried the following with no results: cleaned carb, rebuilt carb, replaced carb, replaced air filter, replaced spark plug, gas, and oil.

I am trying to isolate the problem by unhooking things the engine doesnt need in order to simply run. If you have any other ideas how to isolate it Im all ears. thanks

speedy and others...thanks for the replies...after learning that the parking brake is tied into the rev limiter system I realized that was in fact my problem but I am missing a few peices to the brakes. Thats why I wanted to disable it altogether. So I unplugged the wiring harness under the front hood going to the clutch handle and problem solved. wish I wouldve done that before I spent several hundred dollars on carb fixes. oh well lesson learned
