I have a new sony mavica digital camera. i took some pictures of my bikes and videos of them and was wondering how do i get them on my computer to put on the web. The directions are useless. I will apreciate if someone helps me. Thanx

 

Does it capture the pics on a floppy or a memory chip?

I have a Canon GI digital camera (still shots) and I simply plug a USB cable connected from the Mac into the Canon. I then switch the camera to the 'computer link' mode and the software pops up on the screen, then choose 'download'. My government issue digital camera is a Sony Mavica that uses a 3 1/2" floopy that simply goes into the computer. I'm not familiar with one like yours (a small CD), but it sounds like it fits on the smaller diameter indention on the computer CD tray???

This may be a dumb question, but have you installed the software that came with the camera? Is it 'Plug-n-Play' compatible?

 

yes it does fit in the smaller cd tray. i did install the p[rograms. i think i just figured it out i got a few pics to work. i will try to send them or something. how much is it to have a website?
