Default 06 wolverine

Hey guys
My name is Daniel and i'm new on this forum. I have a problem with my 06 wolverine. What happens is that when i turn on the machine it does not take even a minute for the temperature light to come on. I have spoke with my dealer and he gave me couple tips but none of them helped, if any of u guys have had a similiar problem i would appreciate any kind of tips.
Thanks

does it have coolant in it? is your radiator plugged? is the overflow bottle over full or under full? have you done anything to the bike recently as far as maintance and such? Does the engine have the proper engine oil and is the engine oil level full? is the ultramatic belt cover full of water or mud? Is your air filter dirty? How does it run?

Thank u for your replay.
To answer some of the questions.
-There is plenty of coolant
-The overflow bottle is overfull
-The ultramatic belt cover is empty- i pulled out the draining plug and nothing came out.
-The air filter is clean
-The radiator is plugged
-It runs pretty smooth, but last time i went out it died on me while going through a river and i had a hard time starting it back up. I just did a little test- when i turned on the atv and when the temperature light first came on i checked the coolant temperature and it was cold.

The overtemp light comes on when you first start the bike to do a bulb check and is normal. Clean out the radiator and see if the bike still overheats.

If the radiator is plugged you need to clean it. Sounds like you either have a bad sensor/switch or a problem in the wiring.
