Default Raptor running like Junk

My raptor is keep cutting out when I hit the gas hard. Ive been having problems with the parking brake on it. The parking brake dont work and has been making the rev limiter stuck. Does any one know how to totally disconnect the parking brake or is it somthing else causing my raptor to do this?

The first thing I did after buying my Raptor in '02 was to disconnect the Parking Brake. It sounds like you're experiencing the problems associated with it.

Disconnecting the brake is simple:

1. Locate the two wires that go into the Parking Brake Lever (one male and one female), disconnect these two wires and simply plug these two wires into each other (E-brake bypass).

2. Remove the E-Brake cable and E-Brake assembly at the rear Brake Caliper.

3. Buy a Block-off Plate to cover the gap left after removing the E-Brake Assembly. ($11-$20, depending on style).

4. Ride to your hearts content without worrying about the shabby E-Brake.

or if u can't afford the block off or dealersihp is closed.... just unhook the cable for now... leaving JUST the part on the rear brake caliper...
