RAPTOR LOL

AND, I'll bet you do it without burning a belt! I think that the Polaris "sport" machines are for those who aren't bright enough or coordinated enough to run a manual clutch machine......
I've ridden Honda, Polaris, Yamaha, Bombardier, and Suzuki, Quads are quads, period, end of story.
I don't see anyone on here saying that thier Ford Escort can tear up the power lines better than someone's F-350 superduty. Until they babies here can compare apples to apples, these forums just lose more respect.
GROW UP SCRAMDADDY400! Maybe you and Quadfather could get together for a few verses of *** By Ya.

scramboy, if the scrambler 400 4x4 is the most versitile quad than why don't you own one? I can see the merits of a 4x4 but your 2x4 is worthless given its overweight, doesn't handle, can't do utility work and will not go through the mud.
And secondly why are you so resentful of people who spend $7k on a quad. If you make $50k a year and buy a 5k quad and guy number 2 spends $7k but makes $100k a year aren't you the guy spending too much? I'm assuming a lot here given your probably in high school still working at Burger King.

How can you tell what I can and can not do with my scrambler 2x4, I can cut through mud like a knife in butter. Having a machine that has the same engine as the xplorer utility helps a lot in torque.
And for your information no I'm not in high school working at burger king, I work for William E. Dailey in Shaftsbury, Vermont, they specialized in concreate and blacktop, I'm one their mechanics and let me tell you something parts on those machines are a lot bigger and harder to repair than I our little rinky dink quads.

Eric...It's a story problem you apparently don't get. Let me help you.
1- The guy with the Caddy is like the babies that say what ever they have is the best.
2- The guy with the F150 is like the babies that say the machine they have is good for everything.
3- Like both of the guys in the story, a machine can be used for many purposes but may not be the best machine for that purpose.
4- Most people should realize that hauling slop and working on the farm is a better job for a beat down F150 than a new Caddy.
5- Most people should realize that a 4x4 quad is better suited for muddy, snowy, utility type use and a "sport" quad is better suited for seeing how fast you can go and how much air you can get.
6- Most people would feel they had the wrong quad if they took their Raptor thru 3 feet of muddy water and most people would feel that their 4x4 may not make it to the top of that high dune.
7- My post has nothing to do with the quality of... F150's, Caddilac's, Raptor's, Polaris's or any other machine since they ALL have their place.
8- My post was to help those who start arguements about the quality of someone else's ride step back and really see how stupid an arguement it really is.
An ancient man of wisdom once wrote..."Who are you to judge the house servant of another?".
What difference does it make to you what the other guy rides? And if he says that he doesn't like yours what do you care? Do you also complain about his house? his car? his wife? his dog? his yard? his hair? his shoes? his job?
Hopefully you can see how petty it is to complain about something that doesn't even come close to effecting you. UNLESS you can't go to the trails, track, dunes, mud pit and prove it. And even IF a person can prove what you say, is there ANY benefit to being a self indulgent, self proclaiming jerk.
9- Most people would say no.
