Default blaster shocks/suspension questions

Hey guys,

I like to trail ride. Don't really do any racing or jumping much.

I am looking to upgrade my shocks on my 2003 blaster.

I was reading a bit and saw that some people put the the stock banshee shocks on blasters because the have a +2in travel vs stock blaster shocks.

Should I save my money and get works shocks instead? I was planning to buy some used works shocks.

my other questions is if Banshee shocks fit the blaster could I but works shocks for a banshee and put them on my blaster?

What do you guys think of works shocks?

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Works shocks are great. To get the most out of them they need to be set up for your weight. A set of Blaster Works dual or triple rate shocks would be better than stock Banshee shocks. I would get the Works over the stock Banshee if you have the extra cash.

i have an 02 blaster and also like to trail ride, plus glamis too. I am 14 and have just bought an FMF fatty piipe with a Turbine core 2 silencer for my quad. Now that its faster it also seems to be more prone to tip. Seeing that i need wider suspension, i am in same situation as you i guess. i am planning on getting an a arm widening kit on ebay for around 160 bucks, my friend has a kit on his trx 400 and it works great and looks awesome. basically just brackets that extend the mounts your a arms bolt on to, while creating a lower quad with more travel. check it out . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...Q5fPartsQ5fAccessories
