I just got done installing my 12 - 44 tooth combanation on my Raptor, and when I test rode it I seemed to pick up a little extra chain noise. I think that it is from the increased pressure on the lower chain roller, due to the larger rear sprocket. The roller is free and turning, just a little noisy.
Is anyone else using this combo, and are you noticing increased wear on the roller?
Thanks Drew

Whaat sort of ratio would that combo be anyhow?
im into street cars and being that a 373 to a 390
ratio is sweet for most street applications, what combo would it take to get a 390 or 411 ratio for the raptor. is it possible? i do alot of hills and tight trails so top speed isn't important.

Helm... I also put the 12-44 combo on my Raptor. Reason being, Scramblerdrew and I would like to run 22 inch tires and lower the gearing just a little. We will probably be about the equivalant of someone with a Raptor and the stock 13 front and a 42 rear with stock tires, at least that's what I'm shooting for, with the taller tires.

We bought sprockets at Rocky mountian atv, and the Primary Drive sprockets are cheap, seem to be well made.

NOTE TO THE WISE: Raptor comes with a 92 link chain stock, if you go to the 12-44 combo, get a new chain also. You will need about 94 links.

Once installed, howmuch clearance did you have on the bottome side of the rear sprocket where the chain rail is located? Did you drop the swing axle shield for more clearance?

Ya did you have to shim down your rear swingarm skid so that the chain/sprocket wouldnt rub. Also why didnt you just go to an 11 in the front?
