Default 350 Warrior transmission bearing

Recently took my sons 4 wheeler in thinking the clutch was going and they said that a transmisson bearing was going and it was going to be around 500-600 to fix. Any one ever have a problem like this?

Thanks Tom

I don't see many transmissions going bad.. more one way clutches on the starter flywheel and just drive clutches on the warrior.
