i have not checked the flywheel magnets - only because the spark seems very good . ive tried to move the wire and boot around to find any short but there isnt one, it always sparks. i thought compression was bad because it barely lifted my finger off the spark plug hole- but i removed the plug out of my other yfm100 (exact same machine) and it was the same.
i even dumped a bunch of starting fluid in and it didnt even try to start. any other ideas or should i go ahead and check those magnets.
thanks guys!

well- i disassembled the carb again, cleaned it and stuck it back in and it started right up ! and its still running .
we went riding and my oldest boy crashed on it and messed himself up pretty good . he shouldent have been riding such a small quad but he let his buddy ride his mohave. too fast for no suspension i guess but at least its running good now-just have to straighten the handlebars
thanks for the help guys
