I have a 2003 Banshee With Toomey T-5 full system,jetted carbs and proflow kit and i plan to have it bored 40 over and have it ported if i do this will i be able to outrun a 700R with a full LRD system and power commander?

 

A additional question is it worth the .040 over bore vs say .010 or .020?

 

with that setup.. i doubt it.. unless he weighs alot more than you.

 

What needs to be done? I figured it should.

Drag. We have a guy who is very arrogant about his 700R. Says it can not be beat. We want this Shee to smoke him so he'll zip it.

 

I cant stand 4 strokes but those 700Rs are pretty fast man. If its just a drag race you should be able to take him with the right gearing. Thats one thing those 700s have is mph. I out run my buddies 700R with barker exhaust and power commander on my 1 Dir Racing built 89 250r. I run a 14 up front and a 37 on the rear.

 

at silver lake i raced a kid on a piped 700r and he looked like he weighed about 100lbs... and i stayed right with him on every race, neck and neck.. i weigh 235lbs
