parking break is the same as the clutch lever..the switch is the top wire not the bottom comming out of the assembly

search parking brake... you pretty much described the symptoms to a T... if it was a cracked boot it would pop and die at idle if it was clogged needle it would run good fora couple mins then miss and have lack of power but would still go ABOVE idle...

I thought it may be the carbs because it was bogging a little before it warmed up but stopped after it warmed up for a couple minutes and ran strong then it started bogging and wouldnt stop when i was parking it.

somtimes the parking brake will intermittently come on.. it happened on my dad's quad.. i thought it was a dirty carb.. i took that off and the quad ran spectacularly

That makes sense now.I guess you have experienced some problems with this.There must be problems with the limiter for the parking brake from what you are saying.

it doesn't matter.. it will engage when even if it has never been touched the entire time he's owned the quad... they are that bad

I thought the parking brake was engaged with the left handbrake lever (front), but it didnt seem to do anything anyways.??
