Default Help with warrior valve problem

I have a 1990 warrior. I went to check my valve clearance to find the intake valve adjustment screw and nut were missing. This is the 3rd time this summer that the adjustment screw and/or nut have came off. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? Any ideas on how to get these pieces out of my engine? Thanks for your help.

honestly if you properly torque the bolts they won't come loose.. or you can use thread locker. The bolts are still in the top end of the engine. I'd be very careful runing the engine like that as I've seen it where the bolts get in the way of the cam and sheer the locating pin and chew the head up and bend valves. Just take your magnet and fish around in to top end of the engine and you should find them.
