Not sure about the Yamaha ,but both the Belt housing and air intake for the carb are at the same level, high at the steering post which is above the seat and tank. The seat can be under water and you still will be fine, just do not let off the gas or the water will come in at the exhaust.

well the intake for the carb is actually located under the very front of the seat on the wolverine. I am not sure about the bruin but as long as you keep a wake in front of you you are ok to go up to the seat.

I have a bruin stock tire's and have had watter about 2-3 inches above the tire's and it did'nt miss a lick 3 foot deep though wont happen without snorkles IF< it die's just dont try and crank it back up push or pull it out of the watter and take the air box lid off and get all the watter out of it and take off the air filter dry it up and then take the spark plug out and stan the BRU on its end and turn it over a few times to get the watter all out then make sure to drain the belt housing and after putting your plug back in you should be good to go!!! I know you probaly already know most of this but just in case... and I have sunk my raptor 3 times and drown it out and did the things i said above minus the belt of course and rode all threw the day I had no watter in the oil though... and all that was a year ago and it still is running strong!!!!!
