Give me your pm6 and I'll check the Blaster out for ya! J?K What you need to do is a general check of the whole quad. Check the underbelly for damaged frame rails, look around the shock and motor mounts for cracks in the metal or chipped paint(which usually means the metal is cracked or at least stressed.) Check the tranny oil for contaminants, do a compression test if possible. Check all the suspension and steering components for excess play at the bushings/bearings, etc. If you are looking at a quad alongside of the road, and they didn't even clean the mud off from the last ride, just keep walking.

 

Ditto what scooter86 put and check if previous owner had it to his dealer for scheduled routine maintenance. If record is kept of fluids/filters changed, it usually means it was taken care of.
