well it seems to be running great, although I do think that the stock battery is a little insufficient for cranking and I might need to richen up my pilot jet a little for cold start ups.

Thats sounds normal, the old 350 Wolverine 446 kit usually requires a bigger battery, I think 4 stroke tech recommended a battery used for a Harley, just find the case size that will still fit, and gives you the max juice for the size. If you didn't go up a size on the pilot for the big bore kit,I'm surprised it has started and idled fine so far, you'd think that much more air flow going into the engine would require one or two more steps up on the pilot to keep up. Sounds like a real success so far, you're making me consider the 446 kit for my old Wolverine, instead of buying a newer, bigger quad !!!

For the price of going the 446 (probably run you around 1200 bucks its cheap compared to a new quad.)

I talked to Four Stroke Tech today, I can save a little reusing my cam and stiffer valve springs, if they do all the work, $1,399 parts and labor, plus 175 to port and flow match the head to the cam and engine work. So guess what I'll be doing this winter !!! As soon as I'm done using the Wolvy for last minute yard work, I'm going to start the tear down, and send the motor in for the Power Up surgery !! I've never really found another quad I liked as much as my Wolverine, small size, great handling, sporty, now it will have the raw power to match. Hope mine will go as well as yours has so far !!

sounds great. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. I got out and did a top speed run on my wolvy today and the top speed did not change(I didnt really figure that it would seeing as how I did not mess with the gearing and that is what really limits the wolverine to top end speed). But it is sure a lot faster at getting there. Next step is either hauck racing clutch work, a new carb or new cdi if one becomes available.

congrats on the purchase. Lets see some pics of you guys and your bikes.
I really like the bbk for the wolvy it definetly helps out on the power end for down low, I think I could probably run with a 400cc sport quad now until top end then they would leave me behind. Anyone with a stock 400 around omaha arkansas want to run it?
