Went to Albuquerque today- the Yammee dealer had 3 '07s left on the lot and sounded like he was willing to deal. Told'em I'd go have something to eat and think it over. Back to Santa Fe I figured just for kicks rattle the local guys cage, he had an '08 Grizz450 and well, understandably wouldn't deal per se. He brought up waiving set up cost and a few other lowball things, but the Aluquerque said he'd try and throw in the winch install for free.
Oh yeah- and when I brought up my trade to the local fella he belly ached about how hard it is to sell a used quad and yada yada yada. I'm thinkin' I can waith the dealer in Albuquerque out 'till January and deal.............

 

What's a new bike worth there anyway? $4500? $5000? It's still cheaper, anyway you slice it, than Canadian prices. I paid $9499 for my 450 in May plus 14% sales tax. There are guys here in Ontario payin' $15000 for 800 Outlanders that itself is "outlandish" You guys cryin' over a couple a hundred bucks is stupid. What do you want to buy the bike for $4000? I'm not really rippin' on ya but by the freakin' bike already and start ridin'... times a wastin' what's a couple a hundred bucks anyways... obviously you like the bike... you can't put a price on love...

 

The quad is $6299 MSRP, but the kid said he was ready to deal, I have some carb gremlins I gotta eradicate, then I'll go down and wrestle. December seems like a great time for a quad.............

 

I'd say $5900 with a winch and call it a deal.

 

Gotta remember I have a trade in- I was thinkin' along the lines of my quad and write'em a check for $4,000- 4,500, with the winch and all...................
