Default New help deciding

I can't decide if i should rebuild my 90' warrior or get a newer quad. I only want to spend around 3,000 total either on my warrior or a newer quad. I can't decide if i should get a newer 350 raptor or a yfz450 if i can find one cheap. If anyone has an opion please let me know.

Between those 3 options rebuilding your warrior sounds the easiest. It would be hard to find a 350 or 450 for around $3000. Plus you could do alot more to your warrior. But if you really want a new one a yfz450 would be great for trailriding and racing. my raptor 350 is good at both but lacks power compared to a 450.

the yfz 450 is a great race quad but you have to rev it up so much it would not be a great strictly trail quad. But as albaman said it will be hard to find a 350 raptor or a yfz 450 for about 3000. But you could install a 446 bbk in yours and new pipes and stuff for under 3000

What needs rebuilding on your Warrior? You could rebuild the whole thing for less than $3000. You can find other bikes on Craigslist.com for pretty good deals if you want a new one. There is a '05 Raptor 350 listed on craiglist in my area now for $1500 and you can find Raptor 660's for $2000-3000 all day long. If you want a big bore for your Warrior you can also look on fourstroketech.net for the 446 kit. With this kit and other mods you will be able to keep up with stock 450's, but I would recommend if you want to go faster save your money for another bike.

yea im not sure what i want to do. i ride alot on trails so i don't know if i need a huge 660 or anything like that. thats kinda why i was looking at the yfz 450's but i don't have the dough for that. my warrior is in decent shape new edelbrock carb that rev's high for some reason but im not sure about that one, new cdi box, stator, clutch new plastics, and rear brake calipers. Im just looking to go a lilttle faster without spending all my money. I also like the retro of the warrior.
