STIFF THROTTLE CABLE
#1
Just wondering if anybody else has probs with sluggish throttle cables in the winter time? Is there anything that I can lube it up with. Maybe spray somthing down it from the top. I haven't done anything to it yet. I'm waiting on experienced advice. Thanx.

you can spray some silicone down the cable. I had a problem w/ mine a few times when it would get wet and be freezing out would kinda come back to idle slow( when i pinned it it kinda wanted to stay there lol) i took the throttle off put the little hose on the spray can and **** some silicone down the cable worked it in and repeated a few times. Havent had a problem since.
I did all my bikes while i was at it, clutch, throttle, and reverse if equipped. Good idea to keep em lubed. Makes for easier pull and longer life also

YUP, water gets in and freezes. WD-40 Use it religioously prior to going out for a ride. It chases water out as well. I don't know how, but it works.
