Ill check on it on wednesday. But as far as the rear end running dry it would be gear oil for the rear diff. And probably all the part is would be a baffle extension for the vent tube or a one way check valve.

the diff oil will work its way up the breather tube under your seat. the part is a one way valve that will needed to be placed in the center of the tube rite near the rear shock. any Q's feel free.

gotmudd! are you and drifter talking about the same thing? If our bike does come within those vin numbers what should we do? The problem is pretty much saying that oil might be lost in a steering joint and it could cause them to wear and for us to loose steering?

I couldn't find anything on the what Gotmudd! posted about... I found the other but it didn't say anything about the 07... I'll do some more looking later...

no that is the old ball joint/tie rod recall happened a long time ago.
