Default Question about Yamaha Wolverine 450

deep mud ehh?? 27-28" inch tires without a lift-kit would not be so good..Get 25-26" Mudlites, even with that size tires I would recomend wheel spacers..Large tires make the wolvy very top heavy(tippy)HMF slip on pipes are your best bang for the buck..dirt and mud riding..Skip the K&N filter, stick with foam..K&N lets a lot of dirt into the carb..Torque stuffer helps with..well torque lol ..like ctateusa1 says go with the Dyno jet kit and the EPI clutch kit..or you can go the cheaper route and just buy the stiffer springs for the clutch..Also have to add 07 wolvy are not winch friendly,In that kind of mud you always want a winch..but good luck with that..You can google all these parts and find many places to get them..Good luck..</end quote></div>

yhea the winch is just carried low in the frame and I am afraid if I put one on mine then it would be underwater or mud all the time. and besides I actually have not needed it yet.

Default Question about Yamaha Wolverine 450

If your thinking about a EPI clutch kit you should call the guys at Hauck Power Sports about their clutch kit, alot less expensive and they claim its better than the EPI, not sure why but it is their own kit and they also have one with adjustable weight. Hauck Power Sports # is 715-234-5647

you probably gain about 5 % low end and 8-10% in midrange and about 5% on top end.

If you just need low end power and not top end speed get an epi clutch kit. Or talk to hauck racing to have them remachine your clutch.
