Yes, I have a white brothers air filer and stock air box with two 1 inch uni air-vents installed.

With the 160/165 mains and 27.5 pilots it has a carmel color brown spark plug after 3 riding hours yesterday at 40degrees in Ohio.

You could try those 170+ jets but be ready to go down on size I you may be a little too rich with that, but each situation varies.

What made you choose to not remove the filter cover entirely? Did you leave the stock baffle in place? Do you have any idea what you are running on top end? My Raptor ran 75.6 mph bone stock. And that was a track time, not some riding beside my friend in his truck BS. After installing the BG exhaust and a 14 tooth front sprocket it ran 79.4 mph. I am really hoping that teh filter and jetting will get me over the 80 mph barrier. Oh by teh way, thanks for all the help, its rare to find anyone who will actually respond to a post with useful info.

I left the lid on because on my 400 ex I had it off and it gets real old cleaning mud and sand out all the time. I have not take out the air baffle yet but I am going to. As far as top speed I have no idea yet. Mine is geared stock still since I ride mostly in the woods and a little mx. Soon as I can get it clocked I'll let you know.
