i have an 87 warrior 350 and i was thinking of buying one of the following: Yamaha YFZ 450, Honda 400ex, Honda 450ex. Which of these would be best?

Most of the riding i do is either in the pit or on the trail sometimes in my friends 4 acher backyard.

 

YFZ 450. Without a doubt

 

If you want to be the fastest go with the Yamaha. Don't even think about going with the Honda 450 - they are the suckiest 450 known to man. 400EX will give you reverse but who cares? And, to me, the 400 is more comfotable than the YFZ450 on long trail rides, but again, who cares?

 

For the riding it sounds like you'll be doing, I'd say just get the 400ex. The money you save can be used on a pipe and a few other mods.

 

that's what i plan to do when i get whatever it is i'm going to get. i don't do much racing and when i do it's just me and my cuz on the trail or in the pit.

 

Trail riding 400ex without a doubt. Trail riding on the 450's suck, to high geared and the things get hot.

 

sounds like you need a 450 wolverine,give it a shot..

 

the 450 wolverine is a great quad but if you want it to be more sporty then you should go with the 400 ex as it is more of a sport quad.

 

you need a raptor 660

 

I've heard nothing but great things about that KFX450 plus it has electric start and reverse.
