250 is definitely a better machine. I my opinion yamaha has no excuse to even be selling the raptor 350 anymore. What they need is a redesigned version that can compete with the z400. The raptor 350 is just a warrior with different plastics. While the warrior is a solid quad, and was the king of the 4 strokes for the long time, it's mid-80's technology is too outdated when the sport quad market is constantly evolving and improving.

The 250 is lighter, better balanced, better suspended, and definitely makes a better beginner machine, and a more fun ride.

Uhh, no. Speedometers on quads are notoriously inaccurate. I've gps'd my brother's 250ex, with wb pipe, k&n, and rejetted. His tops out at 44 almost on the rev limiter with 20" tires. With the stock 21's you pick up a couple more mph.

 

i couldnt find any parts for the 250 raptor only the 350 and 400

 

my 300ex is a 1996 almost completelys stock and with 22's it will run 65 mph on a straight stretch, raptor 350 will do 75 easy it is geared perfrect. i way 210 and am 15, and i love the 300ex, but i prefer my trail boss 250 it will only do 43 but it is excellent, and on the trails the 300ex cant run with it.
