Hi Range rover

I think if you are going to do lots of mud and rock you should invest in all the skid plates and all the a arm protector. I also have front and rear bumpers and the are OEM product. I ride prety hard that within a 18 month I had to replace the skid plates.

Yamaha OEM is the way to go they fit perfectly bolt right on no messing around.
Next investment will be a set of exgen tracks.

alright, so i guess i will probably do the lift kit eventually. now i guess the question is whats first. i have about $220 bucks i can spend. the lift looks like itll be around $180, cv joint skids for all 4 would be $130 i guess? and a front bash plate would be like $130 as well</end quote></div>

TyMann,

I would save up and get the Skid Plates first! Then get the lift.. The Yamaha A-arm skids are just that... A-Arm skids they DO NOT provide that much protection for the CV Boots.

If I had to buy skids again I would buy the Ricochet Skid set! lots of good reviews

If you call the guy.. he might throw in free shipping if you tell him you are really considering the Yamaha skids

crazysteve, id like to do that, but i have a plow, so therefore ive got the mount for that, which they say also doubles as an engine skidplate so i was gonna try to get them in pieces. or i could take and switch em every season but i think that would be more work than its worth, i think i would stil lhave to go with like, the yamaha front bash plate then the rear bash plate. i will probably get skids first

Cool.. If you get the Yamaha A-arm skids for the front let me know.. I am making extensions on them so they provide protection for the inner CV boots..

You can also get the kevelar boot protector that will also stop the branches from hitting the boots, kevelar is a tough product.
