Hey all, I know this is an ATV forum but I just bought a 1986 Yamaha IT200s to restore. Can anyone tell me why it dumps too much fuel into the carb and into the engine as soon as you open the petcock?

 

Hey Guys, Nevermind, I tore into it tonight and found out the float was installed incorrectly by the previous owner. I only paid 100$ for the bike and now it runs great for a bike thats 22 years old. Now I get to tear it all apart and start restoring it back to stock. I woke up the neighbors when it fired. haha they hate me anyway.
