Default Quick Brake question

On the 2008 grizzly 700, when you pull the brake lever mounted to the handle bar does it operate the front and rear brakes or just the front?

I'm only asking because I might be buying one in a few weeks. I don't have the use of my legs so I remove the foot brake so that I'm not steping on it all the time and I only use the brake lever on the bar. I currently have a 01 polaris sportsman 500 that has 1 lever for front front and rear, I was hoping the yamaha had the same set up.

I'll be selling the sportsman.

Thanks,
John.

The brakes on the Grizzly are both hooked to the handlebars, the lever on the right is the front and the left is the rear. I personally like it this way since all I have ever rode has been sportquads and dirt bikes all my life.

I like that set up better than the 1 lever for both brakes. So there is a front brake lever on the right, rear brake lever on the left and rear brake on the foot?

I would think you could take it off or have it cut short so your foot doesn't hit it.

I have an older Kodiak, and a buddy has a bruin, and to get to reverse, I can use the left hand brake, but he has to use the foot brake. You might want to check into bypassing that..which isnt that tough see here
